Description

X1R Ribbon Microphone from sE Electronics is a passive ribbon microphone that features an aluminum ribbon element capable of handling SPLs up to 135 dB. The X1R can be used on a variety of sources, including on guitar cabinets, drum overheads, brass, woodwinds, strings, or in commercial broadcast and voice over applications.

The microphone’s element is enclosed by Neodymium magnets and is housed is a chassis whose design is based on sE’s X1 cardioid microphone. The X1R has a gentle high-frequency boost and a frequency response up to 16 kHz.
